  7. set aside butter and sugar mixture. mix the flour, baking soda, and salt..
  8. mix the flour mixture into the butter mixture and beat well. fold,inthe chocolate chips..
  9. drop by tablespoons onto the cookie sheet. you can rolld into a ball or just drop them..
  10. using a fork dipped in sugar, press each cookie down twice, creating a criss cross pattern..
  11. bake for 10-12 minutes until just starting to brown.
