Ingredients of Salisbury Steak

  1. Prepare of Salisbury steak.
  2. Prepare 1/2 of kilo Ground beef.
  3. You need 1 pc of Beef cube.
  4. It's 6 tbsp of Bread crumbs.
  5. It's 2 tbsp of mustard powder (optional).
  6. It's 1 tbsp of Tomato ketchup.
  7. Prepare 2 tbsps of Worcestershire sauce.
  8. You need 1/4 tsp of Ground black pepper.
  9. You need 1/2 tsp of Salt.
  10. You need 3 tbsp of Butter.
  11. It's 3 tbsps of Olive Oil.
  12. You need of Gravy.
  13. Prepare 1 pc of Beef cube.
  14. You need 1 1/2 tbsp of Tomato ketchup.
  15. You need 1 pc of Onion (sliced).
  16. You need 1 1/2 tsp of Worcestershire sauce.
  17. It's 2 cups of Water.
  18. It's 2 tbsp of Corn starch (dissolved in water).

Salisbury Steak instructions

  1. Combine all steak ingredients except for the oil and butter..
  2. Freeze the beef cube and grate it into the mixture. Mix everything together..
  3. Scoop 3-4 tablespoons of the mixture and roll into a ball. Flatten it and place in a clean plate..
  4. Melt butter in a pan and add olive oil. Pan fry each side for 4 mins. Set aside..
  5. Prepare the gravy by putting the oil used to cook with the burger patty into a sauce pan..
  6. Sauté the onion until soft. Add ketchup, Worchestershire sauce and water. Let it boil..
  7. Add the beef cube. Stir and continue to cook for 2 mins..
  8. Add the dissolved corn starch in water. Stir until gravy thickens..
  9. Pour the gravy onto the salisbury steak..
