- mix butter and sugar in a bowl and beat it till light and fluffy..
- add egg and vanilla essence to it.
- in a separate plate mix flour and baking powder and sieve it so that it mixes well.
- add the flour mixture and salt to the batter in the bowl.
- prepare the dough and refrigerate for atleast 1 hour.
- preheat the oven at 200°F.
- if butter paper is not available prepare the oven tray for baking. apply a little oil to it evenly and sprinkle flour on.it..make sure that flour spreads evenly.
- mould the cookies using hand or a cookie cutter..
