In a medium bowl, whisk together flour and salt. In a medium bowl using a hand mixer, beat butter and sugar until light. It had to be buttery, a little crumbly (like shortbread), and not too sweet.

- Prepare 1/2 lb of Butter (softened).
- It's 2/3 cup of sugar.
- You need 3 of egg yolks.
- Prepare 1 tsp of vanilla.
- You need 2 1/2 cup of flour (sifted).

- Cream butter, sugar, egg yolks and vanilla.
- add flour a little at a time.
- Press onto cookie sheet.
- Bake for 7-10 minutes at 400°F.
The dough is like my spritz cookies, but with a little milk to make it pipe-able. Make sure it's properly softened to room temperature before beginning. I made the ice box version because it's so quick. Used colored sugar to make them pretty. I really need to find an easy to use cookie press because I'd love to make the spritz version.
