  4. It's 2 2/3 cup of Refined flour.
  5. You need 1/4 tsp of Salt.
  6. It's 2 tsp of Vanilla extract.

Butter cookies step by step

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy..
  2. Beat the whole egg till fluffy & add vanilla extract in it. Stir well..
  3. Combine flour and salt. Add it in creamed sugar and butter mixture..
  4. Cover the dough and chill for at least an hour..
  5. Preheat the oven at 200° C. Press the dough and give desired shape or drop the cookies with the help of spoon on baking sheet..
  6. Bake for 8-10 mins in preheated oven until lightly golden..
  7. Remove the cookies from baking sheets and allow it to cool..

The dough is like my spritz cookies, but with a little milk to make it pipe-able. Make sure it's properly softened to room temperature before beginning. I made the ice box version because it's so quick. Used colored sugar to make them pretty. I really need to find an easy to use cookie press because I'd love to make the spritz version.
