Ingredients of Indian style Butter Chicken

  1. You need of Marination.
  2. It's 500 grams of Chicken Breast cut into pieces.
  3. You need 1 tbsp of Ginger garlic paste.
  4. Prepare 1 tsp of Red chilli powder.
  5. It's 1 tsp of Coriander powder (optional).
  6. Prepare 1 tsp of Pepper powder.
  7. You need of Gravy.
  8. Prepare 2 of Onion (chopped).
  9. It's 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste.
  10. Prepare 2 of green chillies.
  11. It's 1 of a handful of dried fenugreek leaves.
  12. You need 1 of salt to taste.
  13. It's 3 of tomatos (chopped).
  14. You need 15 of cashew nuts broken into small pieces.
  15. You need 200 grams of fresh cream or half and half.
  16. You need 1 of a pinch of sugar.
  17. It's 4 tbsp of butter.
  18. Prepare 2 tbsp of tomato ketchup.
  19. Prepare 3 tbsp of oil.

Indian style Butter Chicken step by step

  1. marinate chicken pieces with salt, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, coriander powder and pepper powder.
  2. shallow fry until golden brown.
  3. remove from pan and keep aside. in the same pan saute onion.
  4. add ginger garlic paste and green chillies..
  5. when onions turn golden brown, add crushed fenugreek leaves, salt, tomatoes and cashew nuts.
  6. saute for 3-4 mins.
  7. add enough water and cook covered on low heat.
  8. when tomatoes are well cooked, transfer to a blender and grind to a smooth paste.
  9. :- please make sure the mixture is cooled before you transfer to blender.
  10. heat up pan and add butter.
  11. add blended mixture and the chicken pieces.
  12. let it simmer so the chicken can absorb the sauce and wil be really juicy.
  13. add cream, tomato ketchup and sugar for balancing the taste..
