Ingredients of Berry Butter Bars
- You need 3 cups of flour.
- You need 4 cups of berries.
- It's 2/3 cup of sugar.
- It's 1/3 cup of brown sugar.
- It's 1/4 cup of cornstarch.
- Prepare 2 1/2 sticks of butter.
- Prepare of Some cold water.
- Prepare 1 cup of rolled oats.
- Prepare 2 of eggs.
- It's 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Prepare 1 teaspoon of baking powder.
Berry Butter Bars instructions
- Mix 1/3 cup sugar, the berries and 1/4 cup cornstarch.
- In a new bowl mix the dry ingredients, then cut in the cold butter, add the eggs and add the cold water.
- Hand mix the dry dough ingredients until cohesive but crumbly.
- Grease a 9x13 pan and layer with dry mix leaving some to top the pan later.
- Add the sugar and berry mix over the dough layer.
- Top with the rest of the dry mix.
- Bake for 40 minutes at 375 F.
